About the Artist

Jessie Mackay has been painting full-time for 26 years. Her work has been exhibited nationally and been featured in numerous publications, including Architectural Digest.

Currently residing in Pinehurst, North Carolina, Jessie was raised in Connecticut and has lived all over the world. In addition to her work as an artist, Jessie also spends her time traveling and raising awareness for Karimu - the 501(c)(3) nonprofit she began with a friend in 2008 which focuses on women’s empowerment projects in Tanzania.
