Rock Row Health Campus Art
We were thrilled when the interior design team at Mey & co reached out placing two of Anki Gelb’s paintings in the newly finished Rock Row Health Campus in Westbrook. Mey & co has an incredible design portfolio and the team has brought some of the best looking (and best tasting!) restaurants in Portland to life. (Case in point, browse their work for Mr. Tuna, Bar Futo, and Bread + Friends.)
Anki’s soothing abstract works fit what Mey & co was trying to achieve in their design for the medical campus - something calming, yet full of hope, with references to the nearby coastline and water. We were also happy to learn that Mey & Co. sourced multiple pieces from the studio of gallery artists cee & she for the wall of vessels and ceramics they curated for one of the facility’s main walls. Other locally sourced art includes a captivating installation by Christina Watka behind the welcome desk and framed woven paper collages by Rachel Sperry of NUUFORM.
Many thanks to Mey & co for including these pieces in this beautiful, state of the art facility, and for going the extra mile in sourcing thoughtful, original work from local artists and galleries.
